| Mixed Bag's President is Cathy Stoia, a stylish, fifty-something entrepreneur who happens to be a wife, mom, ex film production coordinator and frankly, a superstar with superior taste. We call her the purveyor of taste. Remember the Munchkins from the 'Wizard of Oz' who "get up at twelve and start to work at one, take an hour for lunch and then at two they're done?" Not Ms. Stoia. She is the polar opposite of the Munchkins. She rises with the sun, works a full day, tucks her husband and teenagers into bed and sleeps only after she's obsessively searched the internet into the wee hours of the morning, for the latest and most fashionable trends, styles and gift ideas. |

Back in the olden days, when our President, Cathy Stoia, was working as a film production coordinator in both New York and Los Angeles, she worked with lots of interesting people who had "scrutinizing standards." The entire entertainment industry was operating on a different standard... a higher standard. For gifts, gift baskets and promotional products, they wanted the "best of the best", "different", "never been done before" gifts and they wanted them yesterday. It was an industry screaming for a new kind of gift. It is from this place, that Mixed Bag was born. Ms. Stoia had the vision that a new line of gifts, gift baskets and promotional products unlike any other on the market, could meet the demanding requirements of the entertainment industry.
Nine years and 30,761 gift baskets later (not to mention 27,607 promotional items including cast and crew jackets, T-shirts, hats, bowling bags, etc.), Mixed Bag has grown into a full service on-line gift studio. And Ms. Stoia is still exploring strange new worlds, seeking out new life and new civilizations, boldly going where no woman man has gone before! Under her guidance, we don't just service Hollywood anymore. (Although we will, so don't turn on us, Hollywood.) Thanks to our leader, we are expanding our horizons by reaching out to all of our fellow countrymen and women, with a little help from the exciting technology of the World Wide Web. |

| In our quest for excellence, we have noticed that many gift baskets are packed in huge, uninspired wicker baskets, cluttered with poor quality, disposable items. Sadly, for both the recipient and for our earth, most of these items will be thrown away. At Mixed Bag, we insist on a higher standard. We say, "In Size We Trust," meaning that it's not the size of the gift basket, but the quality and creative combinations of its contents, that matters. For same day service, all orders must be placed by 12 noon, Pacific Standard Time.
Orders placed after 12 noon, will go out the following day.
All orders are shipped via Fedex or UPS. We cannot guarantee delivery if the address provided to us is incomplete or incorrect. Additional shipping charges will be applied for redelivery. |
