Be "Green" |
At Mixed Bag, we don't care about your politics, but we do care about peace, tolerance, education, and preservation of the Earth. We are committed to being "green" in the finishing and packaging of our gifts and gift baskets. We do not use baskets and we never send anything out in a container that you can't re-use for something else, or recycle. We respect our environment by using recycled products and encouraging (okay begging) our customers to re-cycle or re-use absolutely everything that comes with our gifts. Please re-use the shipping box, gift basket container, stuffing, ribbons, etc. This is what we call gift karma. When you take the bow that came on your Mothers Day gift and re-use it on a gift for your sister's new baby girl, which then gets tied onto a gift that your niece brings to her best friend's birthday party... and so on... you are creating a karmic chain that is positive and infinite... who couldn't use a little bit more of this?

gift karma noun—the beautiful gesture of giving, can be passed from one, to another, and another, by re-using any available elements from our gifts and gift baskets, keeping the good gift karma alive forever. This is what we mean by "the gift goes on..."
